Professional Turf's, Inc. tree and shrub program varies from one to five applications per year. Each individual landscape is evaluated for the specific types of plant material planted on the site and the specific insect and disease problems associated with each landscape. A program is designed to properly service the needs for each individual site. Consequently, our program will vary from site to site based on the amount of applications prescribed for each building landscape.

Our early spring deep root feeding injects a slow release fertilizer solution into the ground under the tree canopy for root uptake. Our spring fertilizing begins as soon as the frost leaves the ground. The second application which is designed specifically for crabapple and birch trees is applied as soon as the crabapple trees drop their spring blossoms. The next two applications are a combination of insecticide, fungicide and miticide and are generally applied during the months of June through August to the specific plant materials in need of summer pest control. In the fall, September through October, we again deep root feed your landscape by root injection. We also offer an optional late fall dormant oil application. This application will help prevent insect eggs and scale from surviving over winter.
